Why this program exists

Discharge day is not the finish line. Families leave the NICU with a car seat, a folder of instructions, and a hundred questions that surface at 2 a.m. weeks later. Feeding that stalls. Sleep that never settles. Milestones measured against a calendar that doesn't account for how early a baby arrived.

Years in neonatal intensive care taught Dr. Alile to notice small changes, respect physiology, and listen closely when a parent says something isn't right. MND Champions brings that same attention to the months and years after the monitors come off.

Her work here is personal. She was born prematurely herself, at a time when babies her size were not expected to survive. NICU graduates are not defined by how their stories began — they are children with their own strengths, possibilities, and futures.

Prematurity is not a single appointment's worth of questions. Growth, feeding, sleep and development unfold over months, and the concerns that matter at four months corrected are not the ones that matter at eighteen. These programs hold that timeline for you — and spread the cost across it.

How the programs work

  • Billed monthly. There is no upfront payment for the full term.

  • Leave when you need to. If you stop early, visits you haven't used are not charged. Visits already completed are billed at standard rates — $450, $300 and $200 — so the program discount applies to a completed term.

  • Secure messaging has a shape. Non-urgent questions, weekdays, answered within two business days. It is not for urgent concerns, and never for an emergency. If your child is acutely ill, call your pediatrician or go to the nearest emergency department.

  • The consultation for mother. She is seen as her own patient, with her own intake and consent. Virtual visits require her to be located in Illinois, California, Maryland or North Carolina. One visit is included; continuing care for her is available at standard adult rates.

  • No commitment required. Single visits remain available at $450 whenever you prefer.

My Native Doctor® is a consultative practice. We recommend every child keep a primary care pediatrician for routine, preventive and urgent needs, and we recommend childhood vaccination — administered by your child's primary pediatrician, not in our clinic.
