Group Visits in Chicago · Tuesdays with My Native Doctor®
Healing does not always happen alone. Sometimes, the medicine is community.
Tuesdays with MND are small, supportive, educational group visits designed for people who want integrative health education, practical tools, community, and a softer place to exhale.
These 90-minute sessions may include physician-led education and Q&A, women's health topics, menopause support, mental health and stress recovery, nutrition, pediatrics, lactation, Ayurveda-informed lifestyle wisdom, and mind-body practices such as breathwork, yoga, guided imagery, sound therapy, art therapy, and group acupuncture.
Why community mattersMany people are trying to heal in isolation.
Reading articles at midnight. Saving wellness posts they never return to. Ordering supplements without a plan. Wondering why they feel so alone in a body that keeps asking for attention.
Group visits offer a different experience. You learn. You ask questions. You hear other people name things you thought only you were carrying. You practice. You reflect.
You remember that healing is not only information. Sometimes healing is being witnessed.
Group visits are not a replacement for individual clinical care. They are a complement to it — and for many people, a meaningful starting point.

What to expectA 90-minute session designed to be educational, supportive, and practical.
Every session has a clear arc. Here's what you can generally count on, regardless of which Tuesday you attend.
-

Learn something real
Physician-led education on the session topic — grounded in evidence, presented in plain language. No jargon. No overwhelm. Information you can actually use.
-

Ask your questions
Open Q&A is built into most sessions. You will have space to ask what you came to ask — and to hear other people's questions too, which is often just as valuable.
-

Practice something
Depending on the session, you may participate in breathwork, guided imagery, yoga, sound therapy, art therapy, group acupuncture, movement, or creative writing.
-

Connect with a community
Small group format. Room for conversation and shared reflection. A space where what you're carrying doesn't feel like it belongs only to you.
-

Leave with next steps
General integrative health guidance and realistic next steps you can take this week. Not a treatment plan — a starting point.
-

Know when to go further
If your symptoms or questions need individual clinical attention, we'll tell you. Group visits and individual care are designed to complement each other.
Important note: Group visits provide general education and supportive integrative practices. They are not a substitute for individualized medical care. Personal diagnosis, prescribing, and individualized treatment decisions require a separate clinical visit with a physician.
